1956 D’Angelico Blonde Excel Cutaway- THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!
A Magnificent sounding D’Angelico Cutaway mad in 1956. This archtop is all original including the finish but there are many cosmetic lacquer checks on the top sides and back. There is center seam shrinkage that has been professionally filled and repaired. The neck is to die for. Great profile and medium fullness and fast as glass. This neck was so perfect that we copied the exact profile on many Palens. Original BJB floating pickup. D’Angelico stairstep tailpiece.17 1/4” wide. These guitars were selling as high as $60,000 in their heyday. Just reduced to 1/2 that price. Don’t let this one get away!
